The history of Busch-Jaeger Elektro GmbH began in 1879 when Hans-Curt Jaeger founded a metal goods factory in Lüdenscheid together with his brother Georg. Initially, the production was limited to simple electrical installation material.
The history of Busch-Jaeger Elektro GmbH is characterized by numerous pioneering achievements and innovative products in the field of electrical installation technology. What began with the founding of the pattern turning, today presents itself as a market-leading company in electrical installation technology with two locations in Germany. Alone in the two domestic plants Lüdenscheid and Aue busy since 1969 belonging to the BBC (now ABB) Busch-Jaeger Elektro GmbH 1,000 employees.
Products and solutions
The company‘s product range comprises approx. 6,000 articles: from the complete electrical installation program with switches, socket outlets, special connector systems, dimmers and movement detectors, to door communications systems and electronic, high-end products for building automation for Smarter Home and Smarter Building.
Busch-Jaeger products and solutions meet the high quality standards of DIN EN ISO 9001 and the energy management standards of ISO 50001. The company has also installed a modern environmental management system that more than complies with the demanding requirements of international standard DIN EN ISO 14001.
