ABB's Code of Conduct, policies, and operating procedures are intended to prevent and detect improper or illegal activities. Employees are not only encouraged but required to report any violations or suspected violations of the Code of Conduct or law and to cooperate with the investigation of any suspected violation.
As reflected in our Code of Conduct and whistleblower protection statement, ABB creates a safe and confidential environment for employees to make such reports. The reporting and investigation of alleged violations of the Code of Conduct or law at ABB, as well as the protection afforded to those ABB employees who report them are foundational components of ABB’s integrity program and our way of doing business.
Confidentiality of reported concerns is maintained to the fullest extent appropriate. All reports are subject to investigation and are brought to full closure using systematic processes and tracking systems. Retaliation against any employee who in good faith reports a concern to the company about violations of the Code of Conduct or law will not be tolerated and will be subject to disciplinary action.
More information can be found in our Code of Conduct and Whistleblower Protection Statement.
