ABB in the United Kingdom has a dynamic presence across multiple industrial sectors.
With 1750 employees collaborating to supply around £0.5bn of innovative solutions, products and services, ABB was this year recognized as a top UK employer.
Like many neighboring European countries, the UK is transitioning its economy to become less reliant on fossil fuels and has a legal target to achieve net zero by 2050.
An example of ABB’s commitment to its UK business came with the announcement of a $35m investment in a greenfield manufacturing and R&D facility.
Due to open in 2025, the site will manufacture earthing and lightning protection and will be constructed in line with the BREEAM Excellent rating for sustainable building standards.
