ABB ESG ratings | Sustainability

An environmental, social and governance (ESG) rating is a measure of a company’s exposure to long-term environmental, social and governance risks. ABB has identified six rating providers as being the most relevant to its business activities.

In 2023, our overall ESG ratings improved from 2022. We attribute this improvement to our robust governance structure and our progress toward our 2030 sustainability targets, as well as to the work we did to refine these targets further.

ISS ESG Corporate Rating, April 27, 2024: Prime status B

On July 15, 2024 ABB received a rating of AAA (on a scale of AAA-CCC) in the MSCI ESG Ratings assessment.¹

S&P Global CSA Score 2024: 64/100

Sustainalytics ESG Risk Rating, October 18, 2024: 15.2²

EcoVadis Gold medal, August 19, 2024: 75/100
