Investment Principal
Claudio E. P. Jordán is passionate for both technology and business. He holds a Master of Advanced Studies in Management, Technology and Economics (MAS MTEC) from the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich (ETHZ), a MSc. in Sustainable Energy Technology from Technische Universiteit Eindhoven (TU/e) and a BSc. in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM).
Claudio is an Investment Principal within the core investment team of ABB Technology Ventures (ATV). He brings experience from business and sales operations. Before joining ATV, he spent most of the past decade embedded into the business, mainly within operations and project management within the grid automation industry. He has successfully executed power utility telecommunication projects and contributed to secure and develop markets across multiple regions such as Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. Most recently, he was a Global Project Manager responsible for the Project Management Office (PMO) within a division sales operations team with focus on growth initiative programs, process implementation, market intelligence and business analytics. He joined ABB back in 2012 incursing into corporate venture capital as part of the global management talent program in energy futures. Prior to ABB, he had the privilege to serve for a period as Secretary and Renewable Energy Advisor of the Renewable Energy Fostering Commission at the Honorable Oaxaca State Congress.
