In celebration of the UN International Day of Women and Girls in Science, February 11, this year we continue our own Women in Science series, profiling talented ABB employees with science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) educations, who are leading in their fields, across the businesses, around the world.
Science and gender equality are both vital to achieve the UN Sustainable Global Development Goals. Last year we launched our Diversity and Inclusion Strategy 2030 driving inclusion across all dimensions. With our Sustainability Strategy 2030 we have a comprehensive diversity and inclusion framework, and we are focusing on engaging the best talents to achieve our own sustainability goals. Diversity expands the pool of talents, bringing fresh perspectives and creativity for more innovations so we can contribute to a better world. Through our people we are able to push the boundaries of what can be achieved.
The individuals we spotlight contribute to the success of ABB in many different ways – leading teams, developing disruptive technologies, bringing cutting edge technologies to market, and working with customers across the globe.
